Free pony rides, a kids' stamp-collecting "passport," pony painting, a petting zoo, and a chance to meet our gentle lesson horses. Bring the whole family — admission is free.
When you arrive, sign in at the gate and pick up a kids' passport. Visit each station to earn a stamp — once the passport is full, stop by the Welcome table for a goodie bag (and ask us about riding lessons).
Our gentle ponies, led by volunteers. Helmets provided. One quick waiver gets every rider in your family on board.
Decorate a wooden horseshoe, paint a keepsake, and try face painting while you wait for your ride.
Meet our quietest lesson horse up close — brush, pet, and learn how we care for the herd.
Snap a keepsake photo with the ponies — and tag us so you're entered to win a free intro lesson.
Watch a short demo ride to see exactly how our lessons run and how our instructors teach.
Full passport? Pick up a goodie bag, grab a schedule, and ask about joining our riding program.
Loved the day? Families who register for a first riding lesson at the Open House get our same-day intro rate. Spots are limited and the special is good for that day only — our team will have tablets on hand to book you in on the spot.
[NEED: confirm the public intro price ($50 in planning notes) and whether to show it publicly vs. only at the event.]
[NEED: lock the public start/end time. Planning docs list both "Pony Rides 4–5 PM" and a "12–3 PM" family window — confirm with BJ which to show.]
RSVP so we know how many ponies, stamps and goodie bags to prep. You'll still sign the waiver when you arrive (or sign it below to skip the line).
SAMPLE TEXT — not legal advice. This waiver is a starting draft for review by Miracle Farm and its attorney/insurer before the event. Ohio Equine Activity Liability language (ORC §2305.321) should be confirmed and a final version approved. [NEED: attorney/insurer-approved final waiver + posted equine-liability sign text.]
I understand that horseback riding and being near horses involve inherent risks, and that under Ohio law an equine activity sponsor is generally not liable for an injury resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. I voluntarily participate (and allow my children to participate) with knowledge of these risks.
On behalf of myself, my children, and our heirs, I release Miracle Farm Rescue Foundation, Inc., its staff, volunteers, and property owners from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Riders will wear a provided helmet and follow all instructions from staff and volunteers. Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
This event is being photographed and filmed. By attending, I grant Miracle Farm Rescue and its media partners permission to use photos and video that may include me and my children for promotional, fundraising, and broadcast purposes, without compensation. If you do not consent to being filmed, please tell a staff member at check-in.
I authorize staff to seek emergency medical care if needed; I am responsible for any resulting costs.
